Kelly Nash was born in Davie, Florida, a suburb of Fort Lauderdale. Kelly Nash grew up boating and fishing with her father Ed Nash. Kaitlyn Nash is her sister , and Carolyn Nash is her brother. Kelly Nash is of English and Irish origin. She is also Swedish. Her great-grandfather immigrated to the United States from Portugal.



 Since the age of five, Kelly Nash was a enthusiast of the Miami Marlins. Although she was a sports enthusiast from an early age she always wanted to be an anchor for a newscast. In 2006, Kelly Nash graduated from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Communication as well as Media Studies. Clemson granted her with a Master's Degree in Youth Development Leadership. In exchange for covering the Sports Information Department's Baseball and Soccer teams She was also awarded an athletic scholarship that was full-time by the Clemson Athletic Department.



 Kelly Nash is MLB Network studio host, and is featured in a variety of shows on the network including the evening highlights show, Quick Pitch. Also, she is an NHL Network Studio host. She has a role on the Nightly Game recap show, On The Fly. She Joined the MLB Network in March 2015 and Began contributing to the NHL Network in 2015 when NHL Network's on-air daily operations began to be based at MLB Network's headquarters.
